Increased number of institutions of higher education and exchange programs with foreign universities offer the foundation for increased tourism studies.

Currently, more than 40,000 students are enrolled in institutions of higher education in Malaysia. (The target for 2005 is 50,000 students).

Study tourism has become popular as reflected in the demand for guided tours of schools to allow students from other countries to gain knowledge of the education system as well as the experience of the Malaysian school environment that are unique because they have social interaction various ethnic groups.

EVENTS and FESTIVALS

Malaysia has embarked on numerous campaigns in highly specialized and nice to hold first-class events such as Formula One - Grand Prix of Malaysia and the Golf Travel Mart 2003 and World Cup Golf 1999.
