Sikandra

In the middle of a peaceful garden at Sikandra, 4 km northwest of Agra, Akbar's tomb is made of sandstone and marble. The mausoleum represents Akbar's philosophy and secular outlook which is a joint statement and Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Christian.

Jama Masjid

This mosque was built in 1648 D. C. in memory of Sheikh Salim Chisti and his grandson Islam Khan Shahjahan's daughter, Jehan Begum, has a wonderful assimilation of Iranian architecture. The building with its front in the form of a rectangle, but not their dumas columns of sandstone have a wonderful design in marble.
